I had created this guy early of last year, a little bit before Remmy. The pelt shown is about 80 years old and was originally in pieces. Poor guy was a puzzle. He's a vintage mink from a stole purchased at a local second hand store. His leather, although still stretchy, is rather weak and needs a gentle hand and a loving home. When made I had no intention of selling him due to how fragile he was (same being said for his skull as that is a real skull that I had purchased a couple years before hand...)
He's out of my own personal collection. I don't wish to sell him but my rat means more to me than he does. My rat Dimitri has contracted possible pneumonia and I'm trying to raise any funds that I can to cover any medical bills that may arise for her.
Unlike most stoles, he is in surprisingly good condition. He has all 4 paws and all claws, full tail, and his fur isn't yellowing like most furs his age. He's very soft and supple to the touch. All stuffing, no wires yet still very photogenic. His forelimbs were placed by the original seamstresses as are his rear (rear are a bit long, stretched from use I think). His jaw does move, no LED's this time. I had none small enough.
As he is I can only ask for $100 OBO, shipping in the US only please. He's incredibly light so shipping is included in the cost.
Please no hateful comments. Being a fur from the 1940's he was most certainly ranch raised and killed for his fur. I bought him when he was in pieces with hopes to restore the pelt to as full as I could. The skull is from a wild mink, trapped by a man in Idaho. I am only selling it to raise funds for a veterinary bill for my fancy rat.
