Unfair how? You still have to dribble, there's still lots of chances to steal, and centaurs wouldn't quite pivot so well before getting travelling calls.
Though centaurs gettign a fast break, would be hard to beat.. and rearing up on hind legs for a shot, might be hard to defend, true. :)

I love this picture because I feel the proportions are great and the type of horse body matches the human portion. They look like one creature, not two stuck together. It's pictures like these that make centaurs more believable.
I hope she's wearing rubber shoes though, or else that basketball court is going to get trashed!
