Bub and Bob--'Bust those Bubbles'!
I highly doubt this pair will need any introduction--these two are from my most favorite Puzzle-game series ever, Bust a Move/Puzzle Bobble.(I know it best by the former, as a Georgian. XD)
Anyway, I just finished Space Bust a Move, and Bash(for the most part), so I thought I'd try making Bub and Bob to start things off.
I don't know if any of you would notice right away, but besides their color differences, as Bub being green, and Bub blue--I made a couple subtle changes as well. One in part of the palette, and the other as a cosmetic change--besides the obvious mouth open/closed.
Can you tell? :3
Bust a move/Puzzle Bobble, and Bub and Bob are copyright to Taito, a branch of Square Enix
I made these sprites based on Space Bust a Move, and Bash, so major credit goes to SE, as well as the artists for the two games.
Feel free to use, but I'd prefer if you'd wait until I made more to use. XD

Oh definitely--except for Bust-a-Move Universe. My Mom bought it recently since we love Bust-A-Move, but it feels kinda like a black sheep to me.
I mean, it's fun, but it lacks a lot of the things I enjoyed in the other games--like more than one playable character, Multiplayer, and hearing new sounds, while still being familiar...Universe re-uses voices from the older Bust-A-Move--possibly the first one, at noticeably poor quality for a 3DS title, no multiplayer, and being able to only play as Bub.
It was $15 dollars, and I'd say it's worth that, but not a penny more--still pretty good for a solo game I guess. ^ ^;

Yeah, it was developed by Arika--the group that made the Mario vs Donkey Kong: March of the Minis, and DR. Mario for DSi-ware.
I didn't mind the MvDK so badly, it was just kinda hard, but for some reason the Dr. Mario game felt different from my previous Dr. Mario games. - -;
I guess Taito/SE didn't want to fool with making it themselves, so they published Arika's product.

Yeah, maybe--I had forgotten that they had done the 3D classics. Of them all, so far I have Kid Icarus, Kirby's Adventure, and Xevious, but it's hard to see the gameplay with 3D on. - -;
Either way, hopefully Taito will make a new/better Bust-A-Move/Puzzle Bobble for 3DS, or even have the gameboy ones on the VC?

Oddly enough, I seem to use 3D on all of my 3DS games/ware, but I doubt I'll be using it on TotA3D whenever I get it--I read somewhere that the only thing '3D' are the speech bubbles. < <;
Yeah, one like Space(if not better)would be nice, maybe using 3D like Universe? Surprisingly, the 3D effect in Universe was actually pretty amazing to me. :o

Thanks RH--I've made a slight fix since posting this, but I haven't uploaded it just yet. I noticed that their cheek to our right looked a bit, erm, squirrel-ish?
Either way, I'll be editing the submission soon to show the fixes. X3
Yep, I first got into it with Bust-A-Move 2's PC version--I used to play it a lot as a kid, so I vividly remember a lot of the fun I had.
I think it's on PSN as a PS1 classic, so next I get a PSN points card, I'll see if it is or not. 'w'
