got me some snake bites! it hurts to eat and smile.. and talk... and lick my lips... and breath... and uh... other stuff. gotta rins my mouth with salt water often and nom on cold stuff for two months. eh, its nothing compared to having your spine fused, so i'm not gunnuh whine about it every day. but for those who don't have lip pircing and want one, i'll say this. it was $75 to get these professionally done, and it really doesn't hurt any more than an ear piercing does. but i highly reccomend seeign as how i realize this only after having these done, dont do horseshoe rings for the first pair like me, it hurts to eat with them. do bar rings. and try not to touch the rings with unwashed hands. infections are bad m'kay?

I have snakebites. And if this is your first time having them, I would have highly suggested to get studs/labrets instead of any kind've rings for a fresh piercing.. So much easier so clean and they irritate less. Rings tend to move and shift, and when that bit of "crust" builds up, it hurts since it practically scrapes your fresh piercing. Only thing that sucks is that you pretty much can't change them out now. I managed with mine the hard way - stretching my lip out as far as I could to open up the swollen hole and carefully guide the bar in. If you attempt to do so, be sure to wash your hands, spray them with alcohol, and spray the jewelry as well. Otherwise, good luck with the healing.
