Coincidentally, I had a black cat with yellow eyes that "adopted me" at the shop in Los Angeles.
For some odd reason, we named him Midnight as well.

He was happy with the change to Texas. Unfortunately he didn't understand the concept of traffic while running across the street to kill birds in the trees.

I'm sure both of them are in kitty heaven right now getting hammered on catnip wine and swapping horror stories and acts of bravado.
