No shit, Sherlock. You're confusing style and content. The character design is the character design; the background style, framing elements, flourishes and lettering are what make it art deco.

I try to be a nice person but if you've got nothing better to do with your time and energy than leave poorly thought out commentary on people's art that has nothing to do with the art itself and everything to do with making yourself look SMRT, then I got no time or energy for you.

Liam did a series of art deco *styled* badges as commissions. My character has a god damned top hat and goggles (most of the time). , is Liam supposed to remove them in some editorial fashion because they don't match the badge style that he was doing? He did one for Dale who's a freaking cyborg, and that doesn't match art deco either, is he supposed to say "Change your character to fit the time period?"

You're right, comments are not a hugbox. That's something the rest of us seem to understand better than you, seeing as none of us felt the need to hide our comments the moment we got some pushback.
