2nd entry for Equestria Daily's Newbie Artist Training Grounds. I'll keep these in scraps. Sorry about day 2 (which was "a pony in motion") I never 'finished' the sketch and missed the deadline.

Today's challenge "Draw a pony with a prop/Draw a material pony!"

I had the idea of drawing Twi at her desk with books floating magically around her head for a while and this was my excuse to do it.

eventually (could be tomorrow, could be next week) I'll start inking and coloring these so they dont look as rushed.
