...Even 10 years later.
It's hard to put into words how overwhelmingly emotional it is to still be here with you, all this time later. We're risen up, we've come crashing down, and everything in between. We've seen each other and at our best -and- our worst. We've triumphed where so many others would fail.
I know I don't show it much, and we've both changed a -lot- throughout the our trials and tribulations, but even if it often goes unsaid, I need you to know, beyond ALL else, that I still love and need you as strongly today as I did all those years ago. Every kiss still makes my heart flutter. Every touch and caress makes me weak in the knees. And I still wait with bated breath for you to come home every time you're gone (even if it's just to go take out the trash, LOL).
You're the anchor that keeps me from drifting away, amid a wild and angry sea. Without you ... I don't know if I'd even still be here today. You pulled me from the grip of so much darkness and showed me how to live again. TRULY live.
In another 10 years' time, you'll still be my beloved. My king. My guardian. Even my last breath will be to tell you one last time ... "I love you."

There's something about this that is so full of passion - it's not just a "murr, sexy times now" piece, you can tell there's a lot behind it, and then your description on top of it just adds more layers :3 Happy (very late) anniversary to the pair of you <3 Lovely drawing, great expressions :3
