I've had them chatter at me from a tree in my front yard that they claim every spring and summer. Very cool!

I've seen them get as big as small house cats, so I suppose it wouldn't be completely out of the question 0_o

What in the hell are they eating? I know that the campus squirrels are that big because they're being fed, but an entire population of giant wild squirrels?
