This machine is a portable gramophone from (I think) 1934. It was manufactured by the Mayfair gramophone company. How did I come to acquire it? - You may ask. Before I had this particular gramophone, I bought a similar one but because of the problematic spring barrel (the motor that drives the turntable), I swapped it with a gramophone specialist for this one (the one in the photo).
