A prequel to Renamon's Candid Shower picture I did in like... 2009? She's just getting into the water here.
Holy shit, I submitted new artwork. This has not been done since late August of last year. A variety of reasons could explain this, but I won't go into detail now. This picture in particular has been in the lineart stage for a couple of weeks, but I finally went back and shaded it.
As I continued working on this picture, I started having more and more fun. I especially like how the bloom turned out for the small areas where the sky is exposed. It took a few redoes before I was happy with how her colors turned out. Using a LED-backlit laptop screen which has cooler tones in combination with Paint Tool SAI's different style of color selection continues to make it more difficult for me to extract the colors I want.

Though to be honest, I think it would be nice if you could explain your absence a little bit to us (like in your journal or something). We were getting a little worried. It does not have to be very detailed. just a quick explanation and does this mean you will be posting more in the future. That is all. But is up to you.
