No problem!

Its definitely not a fail, only problem is that the characters are not standing out at all, youd need to put something down there or change the colours in a way that catches the eye :) Right now the beholder just gets lost and doesnt know were to look. Most catchy thing in this picture is the upper left corner which is.. well.. empty. i think you have all the components there for a great and very emotional and athmsspheric picture, you just need to put them together a bit different.
