sketched creature concept i wanted to get out of my system! Ive been wanting to create a character that I can use for this site ;w;!
he is loosely inspired by features of raccoons, cockatoos, sheep, and borzoi

his physical traits are ~
- inky black feathery fur that is ridged down the back and ends in a braided tail
- the crest of feathers on his head is very expressive, much like a cockatoos
- soft muzzle like that of a sheep, NOT a dog
- like a raccoon, Gamayun is able to use his front paws with moderate dexterity
- able to stand and become mobile using hind legs, but only for a short time
-thick feathering down his neck that becomes puffed up depending on mood
- each of these creatures possesses a third eye centered on their forehead used to absorb vast amounts of worldly information

in Russian folklore, Gamayun is a symbol of wisdom and knowledge~
i have created his species to be information seekers, soldiers given specific territories in which they are to gather intel and report~ however, Gamayun went agaisnt his duties in search of more knowledge than he was to be granted. As a result a gold plate was placed over his 3 eyes, leaving him blind as a punishment.

Gamayun is more of an antihero than a villian. He will fiercely protect the weak and those he cares for
