Since we're getting near Halloween, here's an older story of mine for the holiday. It was inspired by the song “Jackie” by Sinead O’Connor. I was listening to it one day and I was reminded how much the song had moved me the first time I’d heard it. I wanted to do something with the hauntingly-beautiful mood it created, and this is what came from that.

This story is part of my upcoming anthology book, "New Technicolor Dreams," which contains 60 stories and poems and will be released at Midwest FurFest.
