( this just to post something here after a year of the last one )


December 7, 2011 9:21 AM...

Started his day off waking up to his alarm, nervous as hell to get back to the hospital where he intern for school. Getting dressed in his blue scrubs, breathing normally thinking what might happen today. Walking to the main front doors of the hospital meeting with my mentor nurse as he starts to his intern for the day..

11:34 AM.

As he makes his rounds to see if the other patients needed anything, as he walks to next room when the Code Blue alarm went off.. feeling a little bit scared for what is going on he knows what that sound means. He sees where the alarm is coming from, and he grabs the nearest defibrillator then rushes to save the flat lined patient. Comes to him and see that he has flat lined for 4 seconds and their is is no time to waste for he has only 15 seconds to bring him back.. Charging it up to 200 J gets ready and ........ 300 J and ( beep.....beep.....beep...) he was breathing again.. making sure that he won't do it again he inject some stabilizers into his IV and took a step back and realized what he just did. his mentor came in right after he had brought him back and look at him and says " you save a life mondo" after he said that he walked out in shock then rest his head against the wall and collapses on the floor looking down as he tears up.
