Car nut: "My Chevy 502 puts off 500 horsepower and has 567 foot-pounds of torque"
Gun nut: "Well, my little five cylinder puts off 2,665 foot-pounds per cylinder and leaves the line at 2,000 feet per second"
On the range again, life is good.

Thats awesome! Smithing is a bit of a lost trade these days... Specially with these composite plastic guns.my dad calls them "Tupperware" XD
And no, not really. I would... But as a hobby. Not as a full time job. The economy here is pretty messed up, and people just can't afford guns and ammo recriationally anymore...
The real reason is so the guns can be transferred to me in case something happens to him... But there are other reasons why I got the competency to... Haha!!
I can legally take any gun anywhere is South Africa!

I'll admit, the recoil is pretty stout with some of the more powerful loads for this cartridge, as of this writing I've put about 900 rounds through this revolver. I will say it helps if you take the time to properly bed it into your hand first and tuck your thumb down and out of the way of the cylinder release since the sharp recoil sometimes causes it to skin your thumb if the cylinder release hits it.
