Well he has two options for leaves. The one on his left is dead and rotting, while the one on his right is yummy and green, but there is a big bear watching him that is close to the good leaf.

Hard to say. It's still young.

Females tend to have a stripe down their back. Some young males do as well, but this guy seems stripeless. I'd hazard a guess that he could be male.

But, at this age it's hard to tell.

I'm standing a few feet away in this shot. Sometimes I can get closer.

Depends on how slow I am and the mood of the lizard.
