Yaaaay I'm back from my journey... skating from Genéva to Paris arround 600/700 KM on longboard.
I forgot to make pictures of the new board because I was just finished a day before we left to Switzerland.
I needed a new board mainly because of a car driving over my old one what made a few cracks in it and I didn't trust it enough to make a whole journey with.
When I made my first scratch on the bottom just out of Genéva I remembered that I still needed to take pictures.. so I'm sorry but there aren't any pictures where it is still unscratched.
The board:
I asked for a few improvements..
-A tail so you can atleast do some more tricks on it (for when I ever could do one)
-bigger joints from the board to the truck to prevent the wood from twisting after much use preventing the screws to bend and straight screws not going in anymore.
-2 layers of carbon between the upper and bottem layers on both ends of the board, making it a bit more stiff and stronger and also helps against the twisting.
-Better print, Together with the printing company we found the problem why the first print was so dark and blue ish.
-And the finishing touch I made a hole through the board and placed a radio active tube in it that gives light for about 15 years.. now AcE really has a collar that gives light *yay*... don't worry the tube is made of lead containing glass that will block all the low energy radiation.
I have done the whole trip with this board now and I LIKE IT!!.. it feels good.. and it looks good..

Yup.... break it and sniff that stuff up!.. that will work.... I only glued the glas tube inside a clear plastic tube with very flexible kit to prevent the glas from breaking from hard vibrations... and then I placed the tube in the middle of the hole and filled the hole up with resin... sooo ya should have some work before ya can sniff that goody up ^^... oh the douane at the airfield asked me what was inside the box since it made a biiiiig dot when it got scanned hahahaha...I just said it is glow in the dark... I think i'm not even lying then..:p ghihi
Hi there, My longboard has been stolen out of a house..>.< *cry's*... so I'm planning on making a new one, I will also be making one for my bf...
If you have intrest I can maybe make a 3rd one. I could even put a graphic of ya own choise on it... I'm also making a new graphic for my bf. But it will take some time. I need to contact the guy that I make the board with, need to have new tritium, need to make/get the graphic, need to print it by a company that wants to do it for me and then I need to build it all together.. hehe... goes some bussy pussy hours in ^^

I have contacted many printshops. I ended up trying a print shop that printed flag. I let them print a flag (with sublimation technique) and then I did that on my longboard myself or with help of the board builder. I took the board.. did epoxy on the board, placed the print on it, added more epoxy, then put a glasfiber layer over it for protection, and remove all the excessive epoxy. The flag polyester fabric is important since it binds very good with the epoxy and thus also with the wood. If you would print it on a foil or something your can't add glassfiber ontop of that anymore since it woudn't bind and will snap of the board if you bend it.
Hope this helps ya ^^
