I'd say the muzzle structure looks vaguely similar to hew decaf does hers, but that has no real bearing on anything. The way you draw them is superb, and there's a certain cuteness in his eyes and expression, which is something I've found to be consistent throughout a lot of your works. Also like the word art to the left, although it won't end up in the final product. The letters themselves look like regular neat handwriting, nothing too special, but they're arranged in quite a pleasing way. Nice and straight, like they've been compacted into a little box.

When I was first drawing his eyes, they looked REALLY mischievous and kinda evil! And I was like WHOA WAIT A SECOND, PARDNER

I also learned what a cowboy hat, a husky, and a bottle of Jack Daniels looks like.

A character can probably afford a slightly devilish expression with some alchohol in tow, but I understand that it might not be appropriate for a badge.

I'm liking the old west/cowboy theme you've got going on here. Didn't quite dawn on me until you said "PARDNER"... which is, admittedly, a higly illogical route for me to take to realise what subject matter you were going for. .-. lawl

Yeah, it was pretty hard actually! I'm used to just winging it, but I had to really study what the hell dogs look like because otherwise I don't know!
