Been working about 16 hours on this map in total. over the span of a week
I finally managed to find a working version of MCEdit that works on the anvil coding, but it is still buggy as hell, but I can't complain since it cut about another 5 hours of work out of the job.
All in all, this map, once I have a good amount of items in place, books written (depending on if it is a survival map or not) and so on and so on, I will release it for download.
I plan on doing updates once I am able to get to a suitable state on the map. There also will be more housing and there are already a few kiosk's (traders) in the town square (one for each building) and there will be one for places 8 and 9 as well.
Places 8 and 9 will be a library and a church, but I have yet to decide which one will be which.
Places as labled:
1. Spawn
2. Town Square; Crafting hall
3. Town Square; The Smithy
4. Town Square; Fisherman's Wharf
5. Town Square; Farmers Market
6. Villa house
7. 4-Unit Apartment Complex
8. Library/Church
9. Library/Church

if you need help with anything I wouldn't mind. also if its a survival map, change all the grass to dirt and a starter chest with the following:
5 grass blocks (I find it to make a map more challenging to have to grow your own grass in, also means you have to keep creepers away from the small spots of grass so it can grow)
1 oak sapling (hide the other types in loot chests)
1 Ice block or Bucket of water
1 Lava source block or Bucket of Lava
(optional: Bones/Bonemeal, wheat/melon/pumpkin seeds, wood tools, leather armor, a record and record player {for teh lulz}, a book and quill for players to write their journals/diaries/whatever-you-want-to-call-it in)
send me a finished copy and I might be able to make copies with different difficulty levels.
