My friend's mom was having a milestone birthday and she commissioned this!
I did cheat a little-the top flowers are not my work (exams were the same week-so shoot me!)
It was a white cake with "lemon kissed butter cream frosting".

Recipe information:

Cake-your choice

Lemon Kissed Butter Cream Frosting:
4oz (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
2 3/4 cups powdered sugar
1/2 t salt
1T and 1t whole milk
1t pure vanilla extract
2T fresh lemon juice

1. with an electric mixer, cream the butter and salt for about 30 seconds
2. add half of the powdered sugar and the milk to the butter and beat again until combined. Scrape the bowl down
3. add the remainder of the powdered sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice. Beat until combined, scrape the bowl down again
