At camp last year we figured out we can melt Lead in our forge and poor it into a wooden mold to get cool prints. The mold would get about 10 good ones before burning out. I never got into it even though I was the only one capable of making a good mold because I didn't want to make something out of Lead. This year we found a whole bunch of scrap metal in one of the buildings that was some kind of alloy. We're not exactly sure what it is but we think it's Aluminum and Zinc. Either way, it's not poisonous so I jumped on the band wagon! If we didn't find it the last day of camp there would have been a whole bunch more than these!
The key on top was for the Steal Key Craftsmen I talked about in my journal. We were each going to get one but only one good one came out before we had to close up the forge. I got a few good ones of the Triforce and Hyrule Crest, but gave all the copies but these to away to friends.
They need a lot of work with a file, and once I do that I'll send a picture of the completed ones and move these to scraps. I really wish I could do commissions for these, but I don't have the ability to melt metal anymore so not till next summer!

We were fairly confident it was a Zinc Aluminum alloy of sorts, but looking at the properties of just Zinc that would definitely work. I didn't work in the forge when I made this, so I'd have to ask the forge master what he thinks since he knows way more about metal than I do. Thank you!
