This photograph was taken at the Newton Abbot Museum, the museum I volunteer at once a week. The telephone in the photograph was (I think) used in Newton Abbot West Signal Box in the '70s.

oddly enough, i once had an actual bell system phone almost exactly like that one in appearance, minus the b.r. logo and the "r" key.
(and plus the "*" and "#" keys to either side of the "0")
