I've so been there :P What really sucks is being all chipper and having a good day and the other end has a cold..or sharing in the misery :D
Eg: Oh I had a great day today and it was 70s/20's outside, I went for a walk...blah I have a cold, it's near freezing here with snow/rain.... :P
