So the other day my sister and her boyfriend made butterbeer, which pretty much consists of melted butter, brown sugar, heavy whipping cream, and cream soda. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh, Harry Potter better have some good anti-cavity spells if that's the stuff he's swigging regularly. I'm sure there's other, maybe better recipes out there, but still....

I actually added brandy to a little of it later on which made it slightly more tolerable. Yay, alcohol!

We were JUST talking about the butterbeer recipes on the web like, two days ago. Some people in my group had tried it and were talking about how sweet it is. I am diabetic so I'd probably die too.

Oo, I've tried that same recipe, I liked it. Maybe it was because I was a kid and sugar was like drugs for me.

That might be it. A lot of the stuff I loved as a kid are waaaaaaay too sweet for me now.

I love the bottom two expressions most. Huh...I always assumed butter beer had alcohol in it; I mean, it is Europe after all, where they have different attitudes toward kids and alcohol. Well, I learned something new ^__^

Yeah, it was pretty disappointing. I'm pretty sure there's other, better recipes out there, hopefully a little less overwhelming.

lol from reading the reviews on the park its supposedly pretty much just as sweet only good for a few sips, but its better frozen apparently.

I can support this, I live in Florida and went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter on opening day.

I tried the butterbeer, and it is indeed, better frozen. It's good though :3
