"Looking peeved" (Perhaps from "Looking pissed" or "Appearing to be Pissed-off"?)
Making an obvious Sour-face at a person, like being surprised by a taste of vinegar. Nothing said.
Thinks: "I don't like the taste of that: I am surprised, frustrated, & annoyed! I can't say anything, but my face can show what I feel."
Extreme expression: Center eyebrows down, half-closed eyes (looking at person), 'pursed' lips (tongue between front teeth, lips puckered to kiss). Like a sour taste in mouth.
Can look at the person so they can see the face, or do the expression when the person has turned away.
