This is freaking adorable, i also have that problem of trying to keep everything and anything that isn't nailed down because SOMEDAY IT COULD COME IN HANDY.

I like littering my house with stuff like that, but I think that routes more for my love of in game housing, and the only furniture being cool junk, and not from liking shinies x3. Could be both though.

Heh, I don't have that problem, well not with junk anyhow, i pick up everything I see if its a plant item in New Vegas.

Though if you want some 'good' caps I'd recommend going Fiend hunting, they tend to drop some pretty nice guns and energy weapons, you can usually net a plasma rifle from them somtimes. Just repair copies of certain weapons then sell them at gun runners and you'll make a nice little chunk of profit. =P Later on after you've ticked off either the Legion or the NCR you can kill their assassins they send after you and take all their gear and sell that for some nice caps. I think I sell a fully repaired super sledge for around 2000-ish caps.
