This was done for school- we had to do a run of 10 screenprints on paper, using a design drawn in India ink on acetate and transferred onto the screen with photo emulsion.
I cheated a bit- Mikeycat's face was sketched by hand, then scanned. I inked half in Photoshop, mirrored it for perfect symmetry, added the text, printed it out, traced it onto the acetate with India ink and a tiny, tiny brush (excruciating), then exposed it onto my screen and printed away.
