
I don't know why but I've wanted to draw an okapi wearing neckrings for a while. I doubt the native culture and the okapi ranges overlap but meh, i'll stick em on an okapi if i want to.

The modeling on the bust is impeccable. Yet, as important as the rings are to you and the subject and this piece, I do not think you have done them proper justice. The rings sag like a stack of pancakes and clings to the contours of the bust when in reality rings made of metal exhibit none of those properties. More tighter and precise rendering of the rings--drawing through ellipses and making sure that the profiles of the rings are of constant roundness--would make them pop with a hardness and brightness that will contrast nicely with the fleshy head atop the stack.
