The night was odd.
She dreamt, as her mind tried to take care of all the impressions she had gathered over the day.
She dreamt, of being together with many ponies. Some she knew, some she didn‘t. It didn‘t matter though, as they all loved her. All smiled, wanted to hug her, wanted her to be happy. They gave her to eat. Mouthwatering goods, rich, tasty, unusual, new, sweet... divine.
The warmth, as she had dubbed the feeling, was all around. Each pony in sight made her feel it outside, each bite she was offered filled it inside of her. She was unaware that it was a dream, but regardless, she embraced the offerings. And as she ate, she grew. She started to become chubby, her stomach stretching with ease, wider and wider. As she kept eating, her wings sunk into the plush that was growing over her back. Her cheeks became full and her neck slowly dissapeared. Even her hind, began to become a cushion of its own, widening out. The legs began to be less and less able to move, starting to become thicker and thicker.
But she didn‘t care. The feeling grew as she did. Overwhelming. Numbing her mind. All she wanted was more of it. And all the ponies around her wanted to give it to her.
And as she was unable to eat on her own, all the happy ponies around her fed her. Oh and how they fed her. Neverending. Hugs, food, massages and just the everlasting feeling of being loved by everypony.
Her stomach never felt full. And even though she was starting to be consumed by her own flab more and more, she did not care. Why should she? This was how it was ment to be...
Until a whisper found itself to her ears.
„Do you think we are to early?“
The dream vanished, dissapointingly, as the foal awoke slowly. Just to be greeted by the smiles of two ponies. Lyra and Bonbon were standing next to her, a little round table was set up in front of her, right on the couch. Her breakfast. Biscuits, cookies and eggs, as well as fried dandelion leaves. A great mug of hot chocolate, waited for her to try it.
Was she still dreaming? No. It seemed not. This was real. The feeling, it was back to. So very real. Her smile grew as she opened her arms for a hug. And that she recieved.
Breakfast in bed. Nopony had ever offered her this before. Ever.
„I hope you like eggs and all. Afterwards, I have some selfmade Ice cream for you too!“
One of the best mornings, she thought. This was the one. The best. Bonbon even fed her, while Lyra entertained the two with tales of her foalhood. Of how she wished to have hands, until she noticed that she would be able to play her lyre with magic as well. They were odd. Both of them. But odd in a good way. She loved this.
And regardless of how full she had become during the feast of a breakfast, she longed for the Ice cream. The warmth had by now made her want it, more than anything else. Maybe, she thought, maybe she could really act like in her dream. Be hugged, be embraced, be loved and be fed. She would not mind if she actually gained either. As long as she had the feeling.
„Aaaaand, open up! Here comes the Ice cream!“
As if she was still a newborn foal, she gladly opened her mouth, allowing the spoon to give her the first bite of a huge banana split. Such a big portion of cold goodness, yet still it filled her with the warmth she wanted. Not even the rejection that her stomach was calling out for was given a care. Bonbon, the feeding and the warm rubs over her enlarged stomach were all she cared for at the moment. It was all that mattered.
And how she whimpered innerly, as the last bite was taken. Gently, she layed back, her belly raising above her, tight, filled, being rubbed and massaged over. At least they were still caring for her. She smiled. And there would certainly be another meal soon. And another. And one after that.
But nothing was everlasting. Eventually, even the two mares had to work, had to be busy. And while they did not appear to wish her a farewell, still, it had to be done. Only a few hours after breakfast, she stood there. Grasping onto her scooter, hoping her full stomach would not pull her down.
And she felt nothing. The feeling had left. It was a cold winter day. Like it had been before.
How she longed for a pony to be there for her. Always. Forever. To spoil and love her.
How she longed.. for the warmth.
Yes, it was nagging, biting around on her. She desired it more than anything else. It just felt so good. Just like it was supposed to be.
A sigh whisped out into the wind, as she slowly shoved herself and the scooter along.
The apple family. Maybe they would help? It was a new day. Maybe Applebloom had time now. Maybe they would embrace her. Maybe they would give her treats. Maybe.
~~~
The farm was calm, laying under the frozen blanket of snow. Birds chirped happily above the trees. At least those, that stayed over the winter time. Yet, the foals nose was tickled by a fresh, mouthwatering scent. Was that pie? It had to be. Somepony was home then! Only a few moments later, she knocked on the door.
With pressure. She couldn‘t believe how forcefully she had gotten. But she wanted it. The warmth. She needed it. Now.
„Why, if it isn‘ Scootaloo!“
No comment was made, about the big stomach of the foal, or the smile, that was combined with two piercing eyes, that downright began to demand some love. Applejack did all but stand there, with a warm, welcoming smile. Voices echoed from inside and the light that she could see was soft. Inviting.
It was almost as if they had been waiting for her. Her alone.
„Come on in! Ya‘ll gotta be freezin out there!“
Lunch time hadn‘t even arrived, but to her suprise a good portion of the Apple family had settled around a richly decorated table. Everything apple, from candy to cobbler had been set up. Not to mention the pie. Not a bite had been touched. And they all had focused their attention on the foal. All, with a welcoming smile gracing their faces.
Scootaloo smiled as well, yet this setup seemed off. Or maybe it was just her? It was as if they had known of her arrival. Before she even set a hoof out of the door. As if they had waited, for her alone.
But what if they had? Perhaps, they had known. Maybe the wanted to wait for her. The mere thought, that they might have waited, solely for her, gave her that feeling back, that she had longed for.
And it settled in, as she was set upon a cushion, midst the family. As she recieved hugs and praise. Everypony was so very happy to see her! Applebloom even brought her a very own apple pie. All for her. Oh, how she was happy!
The family did it‘s very best to embrace Scootaloo, as if she were one of them. They sang and laughed, told old ponytales. Granny Smith even did her best to predict the future, complete with a crystal ball, making a bit of a foal of herself. But the family laughed, in good spirits, having a wonderful time together.
And as they celebrated what appeared to be a holiday for no reason at all, the dish in front of the small Pegasus was kept full at all times. And if she were not to eat, they even wanted to feed her. She loved being fed. Being cared for.
She loved the warmth. It was spread out over her entire body. Held her tightly. Cradeld her.
This, she thought, this is how it ment to be.
As the table began to get empty, the ponies getting fuller, the foal began to realize that there was a cycle going on. She would grasp the feeling for a while, however it it would die again. Every time. It would warm her, then leave her to freeze again. Again and again. It wasn‘t fair. She wanted to be loved. Wanted to feel it at all times. It wasn‘t fair.
Tears rose into her eyes. She didn‘t want to lose the feeling again. Have to continue the search. Over and over. As her thoughts raced about, wanting to find the solution to this horrid problem, two legs were wrapped around her, giving her yet a gentle hug. A coo. Trying to calm her. She saw, that it was Applejack. Carrying her. Holding her.
„Everythin‘ okay, Scootaloo?“
They had left the rest of the family, sitting in the apple ponys room. She was gently set upon the bed, sinking in slightly due to her new proportions and grown weight. The stomach had been filled so wide, she just now happend to notice how it could comfortably touch the beds covers, when she sat. Sniffeling, her gaze wandered up to the other orange pony, who could not help but to smile back. She knew that something was on the foals mind. Applejack knew. Like a mother, she layed down beside of Scootaloo, giving her the oppurtunity to say it.
Say it all. And so she did.
The day wandered towards afternoon as they talked. Scootaloo had described everything. How she felt, how she longed for the feeling, how food helped her feel wonderfull as well. How she never felt like this before. Ever.
How she wanted to feel it. Always.
The earth pony had to think long about this. Family was important and she did know the feeling the foal talked about very well. There was nothing against this. However, giving the little Pegasus the advice to not try to eagerly to achieve her wishes, she stood up.
„I‘ve got jus the idea who‘ll help!“
Together with Applebloom, Scootaloo was ment to wait. They should play as long as Applejack was out, but the foal could not kill her nervousness. What did Applejack have in mind? Who could help?
It was not that she did not try to distract herself from the thoughts, but her stomach made playing a tad complicated. It was firm and round, making walking painfull, if she went to fast. It was just still to bloated from the meal.
Applebloom did not question it however. A friend was a friend, no matter the girth.
And so, they waited, until noon. Such a long time. But, it was then, that she arrived. Applejack slowly entered the room, with a smile, looking foward to this.
„Scoots, I found just the pony ta cheer ya up!“
She stepped aside, only to reveal the best possible solution.
It was Rainbow Dash.
The smile couldn‘t have been greater. And a small, overstuffed foal could not have been possibly quicker to reach her either. As all ponies she had met lately, Rainbow Dash was just as happy to see her, giving her a wonderful hug. Was this all true? Was Rainbow going to be just that friend she had waited for? The one, to always be there for her?
„Hey squirt! I heard you need somepony to hug you more and be there for you! I‘m up to it!“
The foals heart skipped. It was true. She would live with Rainbow Dash and be hugged, snuggled and spoiled every day. Always feel the feeling. She at least hoped this. It would be the most fullfilling expierence for her. The only thing she wished to happen. All that would ever matter to her. Ever.
Even her friends, her scooter... all seemed lesser against this. Every bit of it. She grew warm inside, merely thinking about all to come. This was it. The very best moment of her life.
~~~
The cloud house was far bigger than any of the houses that Rainbow Dashs friends possessed. Every step was plush and soft. She had barely been on clouds before, as she was unable to fly, but she was enjoying it quite a lot. The idea, to be trapped on one did frighten her. But not now. Not here. Not anymore.
At her side was her idol, after all. And with that in her mind, nothing would frighten her.
„AJ asked if I could take care of you for a while, so I thought.. sure! I promise I won‘t leave your side, until you say so!“
Rainbow was so sure of this, so strong in her motion. They would be together forever, Scootaloo thought. Forever and ever.
The sun was setting on another wintery day, casting shadows within the house in the sky. The sky blue Pegasus turned out to not be much of a cook. But what she did have, she did her best to present properly. It was mostly small food, something to throw in quickly, when on the run. It fit to the lifestyle of hers. Bars out of oats and chocolate, for quick energy. Shakes of all sorts, for those that led a life in sports and wanted to add some muscles to their frames and wings. Vegetables in large quantities, all in bite sized forms, to consume quicker.
It was not a feast, like she had had during the last meals, but it was from her idol. It was a gift. And tightly snuggled up to her on a fluffy cloud, Scootaloo gladly took the offering, regardless.
Celery, salad, tomatoes, bananas and more, all so fresh, sliding into her mouth, fed to her by the rainbow pony. She wiggled herself ontop of Raimbows flat stomach, resting and taking every treat gladly. There was no need to chew much, and after a while, she managed to swallow the smaller parts whole. Every good that met her tounge was wonderful. The warmth.. she had never imagined it could grow so great. So powerfull. Her heart was embraced, her mind was numbed. There was nothing around them. Just her and Rainbow Dash, and the warmth.
A cold shake found its way down her throat. Thick and delicious, with a hint of strawberry. An entire mug, all gulped away in what appeared to be a few seconds. And still, she felt so very warm. So comforted.
Not even the tightness of her stomach was bothering her. How it had been expanded beyond anything she had achieved this day. No, she wouldn‘t have ever minded to simply go on.
„Hey, looks like somepony should get some sleep!“
Scootaloo had caught herself napping away after the meal. She had eaten until her body refused to fit another crumb, the stomach was so taught, but still had ways to go, to be big. She was not even a tad as big as she had been in her dream. But she was not keen on it either. However, she still kept the thought in mind. She did not feel like moving with her fullness. But then again, she did not have to. She was carried. Away. To Rainbow Dashs bed.
There they would lay down to rest. Dash was right at her side, not leaving it once. Under the blanket, she hugged against her idol, recieved belly rubs over her full gut. Falling asleep after only a few minutes.
She was to stay there. For her.
Forever.
The warmth, it was now to stay.
Whatever it shall it bring our way.
