ringlord pliers? im just starting out myself and they work great! I was told i should wrap them up (like wrap and tape off t-shirt material) to make them more comfortable and easier.

for aluminum i would wrap them, the have hard edges and can chew them softer metals

i should add that i have only been working with stainless steel, it works nice.
