I used to live adjacent to the Kennedy Space Center so had literally live views of Shuttle and rocket launches from my driveway (the Shuttle launches would actually cause the ground to shake a little and you'd hear this wild rumble). I also own a boatload of telescope gear. Glad to meet another space fan!
