As the first adventure in my 25-year-anniversary tabletop RPG game "Vanguard" came to a close, the PCs visited my cross-game in-joke, the bar known as "the Darken Hollow". This time, though, the establishment has a new set of mascots: Chip, Dale, and Euglena.

The time-traveling, probability-altering pookas have been in most of my games over the years. They appear to be 3-1/2' tall squirrels who have taken a liking to Earth culture and history...

...And alcohol.

So, when it came time for me to create a lasting icon for my most popular game universe, "Vanguard", I finally added "the Darken Hollow" to its landscape and made sure the proprietor had these three as mascots.

This wonderful drawing was done for me by  cooner and, honestly, it could not have come out better.

Whether or not these three will actually show up on-camera during the 25th-anniversary run of "Vanguard", I don't know. But we can always hope.
