Those things always creep me out when I see 'em in photographs of abandoned factories, etc. It makes me wonder what the last serious accident was, and just how bad was working there that it was noteworthy anyway? Given what Shadowrun is like I figure plenty of current and prior places have something like that.

You mean, you've never actually worked at places with that sign? I have. A lot of werehouses have them. The one that I took the most seriously was when I was working at newpaper's print room. I was no where near the machines, mind you, but when paper is whipping past at over 80 mph, you better believe it's easy to lose a hand or something.

Personally, though, I would love to see that counter as this 0-99 neon sign. However, that just might be too Punk for Shadowrun. :D

...and the corp'll probably just say Shadowruns aren't technically industrial accidents, so any injuries incurred by employees during the run don't count towards worker safety. (the things they neglect to tell you before you sign on to that new job...)
