No, I don't usually do backgrounds. And no, I don't usually do dynamic poses. Most of these character drawings are so I have a visual for when I write. All my backgrounds and dynamic poses come in the stories. These drawings get the cameras rolling in my brain. ^^
This is a bit cyber punkish for Marra. I drew her this way because every time I tried to think of what she wears, I could never come up with anything satisfying, so I put her as close to naked as I could imagine. lol

She's flesh and blood through and through. They're like magical armor plates, if that makes any sense. They're not held on by anything other than her force of will.
If I had the aptitude, I would've tried doing a better job of showing that. lol
I think when I sketched it though, I was just trying to come up with a creative means of covering her goodies, but leaving as much exposed as possible. In my mind she always seemed to be naked, but that doesn't make a lot of sense in practice. XD
