Tigon = Male tiger with a female lion

Ligers are generally enormous while tigons are tiny.

I don't think so. I am still trying to decide the back story though. Either this is an alternate reality in that Nala never finds Simba in the jungle that one day OR we both have the understanding that I am a tiger and can never threaten/claim his throne in the lion pride and we like to please the queen together.
