Clyde is a character from the same setting as Night Skye, and is an employee at her private investigations agency.
 He was born on Earth, twenty years before the Fall. When the TITANs struck, he could not get on any of the fleeing spaceships, and in a desperate bid to save him, his family had his ego uploaded and transmitted off the planet, to one of the space colonies, hoping that he could be restored in a new body there. However, with the sheer amount of "infugees" like him, Clyde was stuck in the data banks for almost twenty five years (he was not conscious through that period of time, though). He was eventually re-awakened by one of the hyper-corporations that were formed after the Fall. Clyde was offered a new body, but with the condition that he pays back to the corporation. He signed a contract with them without giving it proper consideration, and found himself in indentured service to the corporation. The contract was rigged to make it really hard for him to pay them back, but when he met Skye, she helped him pay off his debt, setting him free. Still, he decided to stick with his equine body.
 Since then he started working for Skye, as a sort of a bodyguard/assistant. Despite his imposing size and great physical strength, though, Clyde is actually somewhat shy and clumsy. He has a friendly and laid back personality, and can be somewhat naive at times.
