they do have a heat output but i have a current limiter added to the system that acts generally like a dimmer, So far i have tested the total heat distribution from the light strip and it generally says within the 80 90 degrees ti will peak in the darker and Longer pile furs but not enough that is is going to cause any electrical issues.
For electronic work depending on complexity is going to determine the cost, but i usually charge extra 100 to the head + cost of materials for the electronics, and yea its hooked to a led micro controller, and that is plugged into a small music interface control....that you or a friedn can change any setting or choose any color you want...But ringt now im not taking any fursuit or electronic commissions until i get caught up with my current ones....but if you wish i can let you know if i would be valuable for this kinda work.
ahh a full suit desigen like mine huh...well that ...considerably more work because i have to make the electronics protected from movement and stress not to hard just labor intensive, but yea i can do that but it would relly just depent how many hr it take me...if you have like a full suit digigrade that you want completely beefed up with lights...that definitely going to be like around $500, ...and the thing about full suit lighting is stuff happens and sometimes your raveing to hard and pull a connector or break a weld, and loose lighting in something, i can do the work, but i cant be responsible for used error. FYI
