Hey everybody!
Here's the process breakdown for this image: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8575394/
This mostly goes into how I put together most of my images in a technical sense and how I combine vector and raster graphics in photoshop.
The brush I speak of is here: http://freakshow6.deviantart.com/ar.....rial-177890902
Hope you enjoy and feel free to ask any questions!

The pen tool is kinda similar, but Illustrator has always been a huge mystery for me. My coworker does everything in Illustrator and she can rock some amazing stuff, I guess I just need to sit down and learn it a bit :s
I grew up on photoshoping anime banners for forums at 13, so I kinda learned alot of backwards ways to do things. I'm just learned what the fill slider in photoshop did after knowing it in Flash

Illustrator was a big learning curve, especially if you're used to drawing with anything else. Once you get past that curve, it's not a big deal at all. Besides, I use the 'live trace' feature a lot so I kind of cheat. :"D I have done some prelim work in Illustrator just to make clickable masks for PS. There is no backwards way to do things, just successful ones. :"D
magic! well not really but still an awesome way to show your process. I remember asking you about it but never got around to experimenting haha. My first thought was to use illustrator for all this but heck, looks like i'll definitely have to fiddle around in Photoshop a lot more.
