About 2 hours, photoshop
Since meeting Blotch last Saturday I have been highly motivated to do some more paintings and especially a lot more drawing in my sketchbook. This, as you can guess, is a painting.
I decided to take off the pressure sensitive opacity on the tablet pen so that I could practice creating shape and form through color and value.
I actually did this in an hour and a half, the last half hour was spent trying to think up the signature in the bottom left. I noticed that I never see anyone posting art in their real names, only their online identities, so therefore I needed to make a watermark or something for me. It's supposed to read "Tru North", as displayed by the compass XP
And as much as I hate to admit it, yes I did use a reference photo for this piece. *stretches arms out wide* This amount of air to anybody who is bored enough to find me the picture on google that I used to paint this from ;3
Anyway, cheers!
