Oh hell yeah! I've been excited about this one for a while!
When I first saw that
Reva_the_Scarf did regression pieces, I immediately thought "I've GOT to get one of those!" It's totally the perfect thing for me...because I really like the idea of my character being a cool "Swaggabear" but at the same time being a cute little teddy bear cub. So this was the perfect opportunity to get both in one sketch all at once.
The idea is that Digitz is trying on a new pair of his cool looking sunglasses...only this time, there's a little bit more to them! Oh no, what's happening to me?
I mean, I love so much how there are so many things that transform in all three steps. The shoes turn into booties, the shirt gets more and more babyish, the towel turns into a blankie, the Digitz chain turns into a paci, the hat turns into a bonnet, and the pants turn into a diaper. I just love so much how I was able to get all of my adult accessories and all of the baby ones that I love all into one sketch.
Everyone already knows how amazing Reva is, but I'm just so happy and thankful that he's able to do pieces like this...it really adds such a great element to all of this, and it's such a unique idea and drawing. I'm so happy with it!

I know! And the thing is...I gave him quite a bit of input on the first and third steps, but I wasn't sure about a lot in the second, so I kind of let him fill in the blanks. And the second step is awesome! I love the surprised little kid vibe it gives...everything is kiddie but not cubby. It's such a perfect transition between the two extremes.
Hee hee...yeah, there's something very infantile about the outfit, which is why I like it so much for this sketch. I like toddler-type stuff, but seeing my adult character turn into what looks more like an infant outfit (even though he's standing) really adds something extra I particularly like to the transformation.
