Another old drawing from last year, for the 4th of July.

This was a fun little experiment with chalk pastels on darker paper. I used a firework picture to reference for the firework explosion itself, even though it didn't really help me. The only thing I like about this is the smoky effect on the random person, where I rubbed the pastel around to fade it out.
