Geez Firestorm Shisho.. overdo it MUCH with the color? ^ ^;
I think it was meant to be a badge. Not a cover meant to go on National Geographic. xP
Though I will admit, overdoing it really isn't a bad thing. As after all, with the whole Savannah background, it does look all... lion like there too. [Kind of that natural habitat thing going on there. Looks as if this picture could have been used in a lion reference image to go on Wikipedia. [Meaning, it's a good thing. xP]
Still, I will have to say that... you have an unusual way of coloring that I don't think I've.. really seen. I mean, yes, as shown by the nose and the shoulders there, you have down the great light sourcing, and you happened to shade in his mane well there too. [Which you kind of really don't get too much choice there too. Messing up coloration on another lion's mane kind of leads to punishment by flogging, beating or watching Pauly Shore marathons.]
[Yeah. I know. Scary stuff.]
However, it's the fur color you have going there which I only see one the face and the arms. It's like.. a texture fill and it's an accurate lion texture fill. I mean as if you went to a zoo, cut some fur off an actual lion and rather than color the picture, just glued it onto the paper and scanned it from there. [I suppose it goes without saying that it looks impressive to me.]
I had to say something because it's kind of hard for me not to notice.
[That and I just went into that "That's so cool, I need to know how he did it RAWR RAWR RAWR!!!" moments.]
But long and short here [Which never really is short..] is that this happened to come out pretty nicely here oh Firestorm Shisho~! -^ ^-
