This is so right in so many ways!
I know what you're talking about. I've a friend who has evolved from a moderately friendly, quiet guy into a complete dickhead. Kept talking about his online family and how wonderful they are. Here's the kicker, his home life isn't really that bad. It's just not the sex-crazed atmosphere he wishes his real family was.
I disowned him as a friend when I heard his little brother come into the room on the phone and ask to play with him. He said: "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY ROOM YOU STUTTERING LITTLE SHIT!" I asked him what was going on and he had been talking about how awful his family is without naming any real particulars. I found out the real nature of his family, seeing it was actually pretty cozy and his parents are friggen SAINTS for putting up with the little bastard for this long. I told him a way that would help improve his home life, and he said: "Nah, I'd rather yell at them. It's more fun."
With that, I told him goodbye and hung up the phone. He's no longer my friend.
Anyway, I know exactly what ya' mean, girl. Some kids out there are just too stupid to recognize the value of family, even if it isn't as picture perfect as most.

I have never understood these people. I really do think they have a faulty wire in the brain at times to seek out this sort of thing. The guy you described siunds like one I knew ages ago.
We were good friends at one point on MSN, me in the UK, him in Australia. Then I saw a few online role-plays he'd involved himself in. All were to do with him as a cub (female) being taught sex education in a very physical sense by members of the family. I did tell him that this was impossible in life, counted as abuse and underage sex to boot. I then left it after a point after he explained it away as fantasy.
Sadly I don't think he's changed his act much. And with him, I really do think that Frued had a good point. Maybe he did want to have sex with his mother in a wierd convoluted sense.
