You portray emotion so incredibly onto the canvas...this really pulls at you.

Thanks, Kart. I've actually been thinking about making my portfolio this year based upon these 'raw emotion' things I have been doing. Even though they are vent, I always really like the way they come out. I think they might look even better if I kept a monochromatic color to them, instead of having black sketched lines, making them the coresponding color in some way.

The only thing keeping me away from that idea, is the watercolor professor. I've had her for watercolor I and she's a sweet lady, but she sticks her nose so far up people's ass it gets annoying. We know she only cares, but sometimes you have to learn to not try to be a mother for everyone you meet if they're having trouble.

Then again, Finding the muse to do such a project might be tricky. I think I have to complete a total of 18(?) pieces in the semester? Not a hundred percent sure. And if they were emotion-based, I'd have to have a pretty fucked up semester to be able to cover so many. I might just stick with some monochromatic schemes in something else.

Either way, I do thing that the monochromatic style makes for a very neat look with your artwork. I would certainly look forward to seeing what you decide and come up with!
