This was a Christmas gift for my buddy
Balto back in 2010. It seemed hilarious to parody the “Dog Face” scene from Bolt (another film we both love), only with Balto dragging Xyk across the frigid Alaskan countryside.
animecat (who, incidentally, also loves Bolt) pulled the gag off beautifully. Just imagine if this scene presented itself outside your front door. How could you possibly resist tossing them a scrap or two?

OMG! I LOVE this commission! Bolt happens to be one of my favorite Disney animated movies. I loved that scene in the movie with Bolt learning how to do the "Dog Face". Heheh!
So, if Balto is playing the role of Bolt, that must mean Xyk is playing the role of the cat. And when Xyk tries to do the "Dog Face", I'm sure a frying pan will be tossed in your direction with the human person saying "Beat it, stupid coyote!" (Yelp?)
I love Animecat's work! This is such a lovely commission. Awww. Poor Xyk is left feeling cold. I enjoyed seeing Xyk's expression with his paws crossed in front of his chest and a bit of snow accumulated on his muzzle, ears and tail.
