A gift for a fairly good friend of mine that took a little longer than I expected, but what can I say? I hate spots!!! This probably could have come out better, but thats what you get when you use GIMP.

It still came out really well. Even with gimp you put a lot of work into it, so it came out nice.

i honestly just think its cuz of the lineart. if my lineart were better my pictures would be better...i put the same effort into coloring as i always do. i just can't seem to get the right look when I ink.

I recommend downloading Sai if you use windows, if you use a Mac, you're kinda SOL. Lovely work though :)

I do have sai, and it is helpful, but at the time that I started this project i did not have sai. Thank you for the input though :3

Anytime, if you have any questions, I'd be more than happy to help, although, if you have the full version, you have more tools than me XD I do adore the program though, minus the annoying auto blend feature...all the layers lol. I used to use GIMP, finicky piece-a junk

my main issue is finding the right brush for inking. do you have any suggestions? I feel like my stuff always ends up looking chunky, but i feel like the really small brushes are just too small...I can't seem to find the balance.
