What started as a rough animation commission from
deltad of "just Jayton melting and relaxing" turned into me working nearly 4 days at my work animating this more interesting idea in Toon Boom Harmony and severely undercharging for it. Oops. Not my best example for timing and animation principles, but a good experiment. Enjoy the gooey, sleepy loop.

Well I did this in Toon Boom Harmony, the uncrackable $10 000 program that my work has. So... maybe not this one. I did the WIP in my scraps using Flash - it's what's most people use. Unless you are actually asking me where I learned it and that was at Algonquin College.
Well the WIP in flash was just to get out the poses and ideas, it's more of an animatic or animated storyboard, I can make those look better, but still a little rough for maybe $1 - $2 a second. Ultimately I'll play it by ear, I just have to charge for my time. Each one of these drawings took about 20-30 minutes to do and I had to do about 80 or so and that flash WIP each one took me like 30 seconds.
