Extra Oil and MSG.
I was in a weird sort of mood tonigh between blasting my JSRF/JGR soundtracks and browsing the pop-art gallery over on DA. So, I figured I'd take a shot at pop-art without fully taking on the concept. I'm fail at explaining my mindset since it's 5:42am and I'm going on one hour of sleep from the previous night and fgsdfs
Anywho, ignore this. Threw it together quickly, and really..I plan to scrap it soon anyway.

Cibo Matto! I love <3 them. I only wish they were still together these days. However, I see that you and Rude mention "latch brothers" to which I am not familiar with. Anyway, the following links explain the lyric reference "Extra Sugar, Extra Salt, Extra Oil and MSG" I'm referring to:
performed live
Birthday Cake

I don't think Cibo Matto are still together? I'm fairly sure their singer, Miho Hatori now does stuff for the Gorillaz and has a solo career that last toured in 07. But yeah, the song this picture was referenced to is Birthday Cake, as performed by Cibo Matto; Rude confused them with the latch brothers who's work was also featured in the JSRF ost.
