The Claymore sculpture has been refined a bit, and the facial features are more detailed. Turns out that sculpting Clay is about as difficult (and gratifying!) as sculpting the RL me! :D
The anvil shown in this setting I carved out of basswood and painted black. It's a very close representation of the anvil I used when I was a farrier, or horseshoer. I still have the actual anvil, although I stopped shoein' in 1986.
